Ralph Lauren's annual sales turnover is approximately $2
billion.
A deal by which Polgat will manufacture and distribute
Ralph Lauren fashions in Israel was struck recently. In the
framework of the deal, which will be signed shortly, Polgat
will manufacture Ralph Lauren products and market them both
in its chain outlet stores and in select fashion boutiques.
Ralph Lauren turns over annual sales of some $2 billion.
From the perspective of sales volume, Ralph Lauren is
considered the world's leading fashion designer. The
fashion house grants manufacturing and marketing licenses
to leading companies in many countries. Until now, Ralph
Lauren has been privately imported to Israel in "grey
imports".
Polgat operates approximately 50 outlet stores. Its
sales turnover stands at $180 million. More than $100
million is from exports, predominantly to England, the US
and Europe.
