Chairman of Tadiran Communications & Systems: We'll continue our weapons systems line, it will constitute 35% of the concern's overall operation.
Tadiran Communications and Systems Group intends discontinuing the upgrading of weapons systems and to sell the production line.
The concern is presently negotiating with various buyers interested in procuring the line. Tadiran is also considering closing other lines, particularly those with smaller production output, which were defined as "one-off opportunity" and which did not grow.
Chairman of Tadiran Communications & Systems Benny Meidan said that departure from the field is consistent with the group’s policy of focusing on fields having high potential for growth and profit, and which interface the main fields of activity. According to Meidan, Tadiran will continue operating its defense industries at 35% of the concern's overall operation.
