Telesite company has completed the development of a remote control
system for video cameras based on ISDN communications. The system
facilitates remote control of video cameras, for purposes of control
and security. The system consists of a remote transmitter operating in
combination with a television camera as an independent unit and a
receiver and a computerized processor, based on a pentium computer and
a standard modem, as a control and observation unit. Telesite company,
of the Industrial Park at Yavneh, specializes in the development and
manufacture of remote site control and security systems, for
verification of alarm factors and for maintaining observation through
ISDN lines, an ordinary telephone and a cellular or radio
telephone.
These digital systems are adapted to fast digital networks and use
advanced technologies. To date, the company has sold about 5600 units
marketed in Spain, Portugal, the United States and the Far East, for
various uses. Inter alia, in the Chase Bank of New York, and some of
its branches in the State of New York, in the electricity corporation
of New Jersey, the highways system of Austria, the traffic light
control system of Jerusalem and other sites. Telesite was founded in
1991 and iw owned by the general manager, Yigal Abiri, the employees and
the Industrial Development Bank. In 1992, the company founded an
overseas network of marketing agents, for distributing the company's
security products, and recently also penetrated the Israeli market.
Today, these products facilitate simultaneous control of a number of
sites, enabling an alarm signal to be telephoned from high sensitivity
sites. The company recently signed a distribution agreement with Ademco
of the United States, for the distribution of its products in North
America
