The Ministry of Tourism wishes to allocate land, without issuing a tender, to the French development company CBC and to Westin Hotels, represented by Adv. Yehuda Raveh. The two companies plan to build a luxury hotel with an investment of $70 million, on 3.75 acres of land (15 dunam) on a Jerusalem hilltop site.
The 11.25 acres (45 dunam) site is located above Armon Hanatziv in south-east Jerusalem. Plans call for the construction of 1,500 rooms in a five hotel complex, at a total investment of $500 million.
