Pro-Activity of Yoqne’am today raised $6 million. The first round of financing was managed by Jerusalem Global, and led by venture capital funds Israel Infinity (Clal), Vortex and Link. The company refused to say at what value the investment had been made.
Pro-Activity was founded in 1996, and raised $2 million in previous exercises. Its list of investors includes Israel Seed Partners, Unicycle Corporation and Steps Investment Technologies.
Pro-Activity develops a software series that upgrades and improves the application and integration of e-Business applications and critical business software applications. The software, "Pro-Activity Suite" collates and integrates all data processing information required from business users and computer employees. The company’s customers include communications equipment manufacturer Nortel, the Merrill Lynch investment bank, and Israel Electric Corporation.
At the end of the financing round, Pro-Activity president Rami Zajicek said "Pro-Activity simplifies the creation of an orderly information bank that can be operated for the purpose of information systems projects and business process initiatives. With the aid of the funds raised in the investment, the company will open offices in the United States, to keep close track of application in the growing market, and especially among medium size corporations". Information system projects in which the company engages are Internet and ERP oriented.
