The Home Center chain has signed a contract for the lease of a 3,760 sq.m. retail outlet in the commercial center Mordechai Yonah and the Blue Square Co-Op are constructing in equal shares in the Talpiot industrial zone in Jerusalem. Home Center will pay $16 a sq.m. a month, index-linked, in a long-term contract. Initial details of the deal were reported in this column.
This is Home Center’s second large deal within a short time span. On Thursday, Home Center rented from the Tel Aviv new Central Bus Station, also owned by Yonah, 1,300 sq.m. It will pay 3% of turnover, but not less than $14.75 a sq.m. per month, index-linked, in a long term contract.
