The number of hotel rooms in Eilat is now over 9,000.
The Queen of Sheba Hilton Hotel opened today in Eilat. The hotel has 488 rooms and suites, a 600 sq.m. conference hall, a 6,000 sq.m. commercial center, five restaurants, a health club, and a swimming pool. Investment in the hotel is estimated at $100 million.
The hotel is on the north coast, near the Royal Beach Hotel. With the opening of new hotel, the number of hotel rooms in Eilat is now over 9,000.
The hotel is owned be Elad Hotels, of the Yitzhak Tshuva group, and Or-Yam Construction and Development, owned by Housing & Construction Holding and Secom (Israel), of the Shikun Ovdim group of Arison Investments.
