Aladdin Acquires 10 Percent of Security Consultant Comsec

Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a global leader in the field of Internet content and software security, today purchased a 10 percent interest in Comsec Information Security, a leading consulting firm based in Israel to form a strategic partnership to implement enterprise-wide security solutions with major multinational corporations.

Comsec's experience helping corporations integrate security into their IT infrastructures will complement Aladdin's expertise developing content security products and international presence. The partnership will enable the two companies to better integrate Aladdin's authentication and content protection products, such as eToken and eSafe, into large corporate enterprises.

"To reach our prospective enterprise security eSafe and eToken customers, we need to partner with key providers of security consulting and implementation services," said Yanki Margalit, Chairman and CEO for Aladdin Knowledge Systems. "We believe that Comsec's extensive experience and reputation with its large corporate customers will provide us with a strategic advantage when it comes to implementing comprehensive security solutions in large organizations."

In return, Comsec's partnership with Aladdin will add to the consulting company's ability to expand its international reach. "Comsec's goal is to become a world leader in information security consulting and system integration in Europe and in the USA," said Nissim Barel, president and CEO for Comsec. "We look forward to our partnership to leverage Aladdin's expertise securing digital content with our experience helping corporations implement security products into their enterprise. Aladdin's partnership and investment in Comsec will greatly benefit our organization, helping us to achieve this goal."
