Bio-Technology General Corp. (NASDAQ:BTGC) today announced that Dov Kanner, Ph.D. has been promoted to General Manager of BTG Ltd., the Company's wholly owned subsidiary in Rehovot, Israel, and Senior Vice President, BTG Corp. As General Manager of BTG Ltd., he now holds the most senior position within the subsidiary, reporting to the Chairman and CEO of BTG Corp., Sim Fass.
Dr. Kanner has held various positions since joining the Company in 1981, most recently that of Vice President, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, BTG Ltd. Over the years, he has made very significant contributions to the Company's manufacturing, QA/QC, and regulatory operations, enabling BTG to compete commercially in major markets worldwide. Dr. Kanner received a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Rutgers University, where he was also a graduate fellow.
