ESI of the Formula group has raised $4.5 million in a private placement. Participating in the round were Shamrock, the Disney investment firm, managed by Stanley Gold, the FIMI financing fund, and Discount Bank.
ESI (Expert Solutions International) develops and markets knowhow-based decision making systems in Israel and overseas. The company was founded in 1997, in combination with two older companies.
The company told "Globes" that the investment would serve mostly to reinforce its international marketing, introduce its new Internet products, and hook up with new global strategic partners.
