Israel Investment Promotion Center Approves $15 Mln Investment in Galileo Technologies

The Israel Investment Promotion Center also approved a $6.5 million investment in expanding Comverse Network Systems.

The Israel Investment Promotion Center today announced the approval of 13 plans totaling a $26 million investment. The most conspicuous investment - $15 million - is intended for expanding Galileo Technologies plants in Manof and in Lod. The plants manufacture electronic components, as well as command and control systems.

The Israel Investment Promotion Center approved the expansion of Comverse Network System's plant in Tel Aviv, at an investment of $6.5 million. The plant manufactures hardware and software systems for message storing and sending, including voice mail and e-mail. The Center also approved a $1.2 million supplementary investment for Chromatix Networks of Petah Tikva. The supplement is intended for setting up a planning and development center.
