The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of Jerusalem International against the District Court’s decision to put the company into liquidation.
The Jerusalem District Court today ordered that a provisional liquidator be appointed for Jerusalem International, owner of the Dan Pearl hotel in Jerusalem. The company is owned by the Dreiman family.
The order was handed down following a decision by Supreme Court judge Eliezer Rivlin dismissing the company’s petition to allow it to appeal against the decision of the Jerusalem District Court to appoint a provisional liquidator.
The order was obtained by Discount Bank, which claims that the company owes it NIS 170 million. The company claims that it is only liable to repay part of the debt.
