The Israel Police Force National Fraud Squad has decided to recommend pressing charges in the Netanyahu-Amadi affair, indicting former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah Netanyahu. "Globes" has learned that the recommendation has already been formulated and its principles conveyed orally to the State Attorney's office. The Netanyahus deny all suspicions leveled against them.
The investigation has raised suspicions that the Netanyahus apparently received illegal favors from Avner Amadi, who runs a moving company. Amadi's testimony also brought to light the fact that, when he was to receive payment for services rendered, the Netanyahus steered him to the Prime Minister's office.
