Arik Vardi, one of the Mirabilis entrepreneurs, has apparently submitted the highest bid for the house of the late Baroness Batsheva de Rothschild’s house in Afeka. Vardi offered $5.2 million. The transaction requires the Family Court’s approval. Vardi’s father Yossi, also among the owners of Mirabilis, lives close by. The next highest bid, $5.1 million, was that of Moshe Boblil, one of the owners of Club Hotel Eilat.
Under the late baroness’s will, $3.5 million out of the proceeds will go to the Bat Dor dance company. The remainder will go to a trust fund in the US for her son, nephew and niece.
