Pele-Phone and suny.com today launched GONEXT, the first wireless Internet company in Israel. The company will begin commercial operation within a few weeks, and will offer wireless Internet services to customers of all the wireless telephony companies: Pele-Phone, Cellcom, and Partner. The number of potential customers is estimated at three million. The company also intends to provide fast Internet services for home computers.
GONEXT is already expected to offer its customers wireless Internet applications in the coming weeks. The services will include free Internet access through mobile telephones, e-mail, chat, e-commerce, and advanced banking services. In the third and fourth quarters of 2000, the company is expected to provide services and applications adapted to large organizations.
