GADline and MIND have signed a cooperation agreement under which GADline's multiservices-over-cable network solutions will be available with MIND'S Convergent billing and customer care solution. The cooperation agreement includes joint marketing and technical integration of the combined product solution.
To date, multiservice operators (MSOs) have been able to deliver only basic services to their subscribers on a fixed cost basis. Now, increasing numbers of MSOs are taking advantage of the opportunity to offer added value services such as IP telephony, PSTN telephony and high-speed data services over cable networks. Real-time, convergent, usage based billing is now required for these providers to be able to institute new and profitable service plans. Combining GADline's VIVID1™ (VoIP-over-CATV) or ANEXT™ (POTS/ISDN-over-CATV) headend, NMS, and DOCSIS subscriber unit solutions with the MIND-iPhonEX™ convergent billing and customer care solution will enable operators to provision services easily and quickly deploy complex usage based billing schemes, saving on personnel, time and service costs.
