Hewlett Packard and NetGuard (a subsidiary of LanOptics Ltd., NASDAQ: LNOP) announce that they are bundling, in Asia, the HP NetServer E60 with NetGuard's GuardianPro software, enabling customers to implement a completely integrated security solution for network servers.
Using the HP NetServer E60 with NetGuard's GuardianPro, customers can ensure security, performance and management for their business network. In addition, Guardian Real-time Performance Monitoring (RPM) provides a unique technology for ensuring user productivity, while guaranteeing access to critical services. By deploying GuardianPro on the NetServerE60, small to medium businesses can secure their network and control their Internet connections with minimal investment in employee training.
Ms. Felicia Choy, HP Complementary Products AAA Region Manager, remarks: ``Our customers will greatly benefit from NetGuard's high level of security by providing a best-of-breed solution for conducting secure communications over the Internet. In addition, Guardian RPM provides the confidence that network resources are being utilized effectively and economically at all times.''
Shai Onn, NetGuard's President and CEO, comments: ``Small enterprises require the same high level security as other companies, however they may not have the personnel and resources to ensure security management. GuardianPro's easy to use management provides HP customers with the ability to safeguard the flow of critical information,''
``GuardianPro, one of the leading Internet Security products, is a very important addition to HP's product line, as it provides comprehensive security and control for all network connections.'' said Jeff Kao President of Cyberplus, Inc. in Taiwan.
Noam Gordon, Director of the Israel-Taiwan Initiative, adds, ``This agreement between NetGuard and Hewlett Packard is a model for business cooperation between Israel and Taiwan. Taiwan, a world leader in hardware manufacturing, has a great need for quality Israeli software, such as NetGuard's GuardianPro.''
