Tdsoft and RAD Data Communications announced today that RAD will join Tdsoft's Voice over Next Generation Access (VoNGA) partner program.
Through this partnership, RAD's LA-140 Integrated Access Device (IAD) will now interwork with Public Switch Telephone Networks (PSTNs) over DSL infrastructures via Tdsoft's versatile VoNGATE(TM) Voice Access Gateway system.
Tdsoft and RAD's joint Voice over DSL solution will enable telephone companies, new competitive carriers and service providers to deliver Voice over DSL, thereby expanding their service offerings to small and medium-size businesses, SOHO and high-end residential customers.
"Tdsoft products successfully provide voice services to hundreds of thousands of subscribers by providing seamless connectivity solutions to a wide variety of access equipment. We are proud of our partnership with RAD. The synergy between our two products provides the ultimate VoDSL solution, by enabling Voice over Next Generation Access," said Ezra Mizrahi, Tdsoft's Marketing Director.
"RAD is excited to be at the forefront in bringing the benefits of convergence of voice and data to the marketplace," noted Yoram Holtz, Vice President of Marketing at RAD Data Communications. "The technology that we have incorporated into the Link Access(TM) Family is already deployed by leading international telcos, such as France Telecom, British Telecom, Deutsche Telecom and Japan Telecom," Holtz continued. "Our strategic cooperation with Tdsoft will help generate new business opportunities for both our companies."
VoNGATE, a versatile voice access gateway system, enables carriers to cost-effectively deploy multi-line voice and fast Internet access services over existing copper wire infrastructures using DSL broadband access technologies.
In addition, it is fully compatible with any NGA network based on wireless or cable infrastructures. Incorporating an advanced modular design and true flexibility, VoNGATE offers connectivity to any voice switch supporting V5.2, GR-303, TR 008, CAS or proprietary interfaces and successfully supports integrated access devices (IADs) at customer premises.
