Michael Rothenberg, founder of wireless LAN and IP Broadband wireless access solutions provider BreezeCOM (NASDAQ: BRZE), announced today he would be retiring from company management, after serving eight years as Chief Executive Officer.
Rothenberg will be replaced by Zvi Slonimsky, who was named company president in May 1999.
Rothenberg said the transfer of management would be seamless, and that he had no definite plans. "In the meantime, I will rest and study. I want to help my kids with their homework, something I haven't been able to do in eight years".
The company said that Rothenberg would remain on the board of directors and act as a consultant to the company.
