Atrica, which was founded by ex-employees of 3Com, operates in the field of optical networks management.

Atrica, a start-up founded by ex-employees of 3Com, has raised $10 million at a company value of $50 million, after money.

This is a record value for an Israeli company at the seed stage. The round is believed to have been led by US venture capital funds Benchmark and Accel, which had not previously invested in Israeli companies.

Atrica operates in the field of optical networks management based on Ethernet technology (a protocol for communications networks) for data transmission. The company's product is currently in the development stage.

The company was founded in February by three former employees of 3Com Israel: Avinoam Rubinstain, Zvika Bronstein, and Amir Lahat. 3Com also made the initial investment in Atrica, which is estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. The company is located in Herzliya and employs 30 staff.
