Israeli company Aliroo will market graphic digital signature software it developed to defense systems manufacturer Raytheon of the US, in the third of a series of deals signed with Raytheon.
Aliroo’s software enables swift verification of original documents and signatures, using “Drag-and-Drop” technology. Addressees can quickly verify the authenticity of a document and identify a signature. Raytheon purchased hundreds of copies of the software for $100 per copy. Raytheon develops technologies and manufactures for military defense and commercial systems.
Aliroo president and CEO Meir Zorea told “Globes” that approval of the digital signature law in the US contributed to demand for the company’s security system and that it is currently negotiating with seven US companies. These include international banks healthcare companies and an insurance company, where a pilot product has been installed. Zorea also said that in the first six months of the year, Aliroo tripled its sales and expects to close the year with over $1 million in sales.
Aliroo develops and markets advanced solutions for enterprise information security management. Its technology enables Internet service providers to offer their customers secure e-mail without the addressee installing the software.
The Polaris, Mirage, Virgo-Tech, Daisy Israel, Holland Ventures funds and a group of German and Swiss investors are invested in the company.
Aliroo, founded in 1994 by company chairmanYitzhak Pomerantz, is based in Kfar Sava, with branches in the US and Germany, and has a global distribution network.
