US co BroadLogic to use Flash Network’s products

Flash Networks’ products speeds up data transmission on satellite and cellular networks on existing bandwidths.

Herzliya-based start-up Flash Networks signed a strategic partnership agreement with California-based BroadLogic Network Technologies. BroadLogic is the world leader in the development of components for broadband satellite communications networks. Under the terms of the agreement, BroadLogic will integrate Flash Networks’ products in its products.

BroadLogic president and CEO Toby Farrand said that thanks to the installation of Flash Networks’ products, BroadLogic can offer its customers significantly improved data transmission, without the need to expand bandwidth.

Flash Networks CEO Zvi Peled said that the cooperation with BroadLogic makes the company the leader in the high-speed satellite data transmission field, while optimally exploiting existing bandwidth. He said that the revenues from the agreement will enable the company to continue expanding its sales and development systems in order to meet the rapidly growing cellular and satellite sectors.

Flash Networks’ flagship product NettGain enables optimal bandwidth use for high-speed data transmission on satellite and cellular communications networks. The company’s basket of products includes communications protocol accelerators, real-time compression, sophisticated flow monitoring systems, correct allocation of communications resources and unification of information files.

Flash Networks recently signed OEM agreements with Gilat Satellite Networks and Canadian company Sat-Tel.

BroadLogic develops and manufactures components for broadband satellite communications. Its customers include major corporations, Internet infrastructure providers and broadband digital video communications providers.
