Mizrahi Bank today launched a new foreign securities trading service over the Internet.
The bank will offer significant commission discounts on trading transactions carried out on its Internet site (the Interbank), compared to commissions charged in its real-world branches.
Investec-Clali Bank, considered the first to offer foreign securities trading over the Internet, launched its service several months ago. Bank Leumi, through Internet site Leumi Trade, is the first of Israel’s big banks to offer such a service, but trading requires opening a separate bank account.
