Bezeq International to sell $60 ADSL package using Bezeq’s portal

The package will be based on 256 Kbps bandwidth.

Internet Bezeq International, Bezeq International’s Internet company, will sell an ADSL high-speed Internet services package at $59.9 per month (including VAT), based on a secure bandwidth of 256 Kbps.

Bezeq’s Internet VP Yoav Weinberg told “Globes that the company will channel its subscribers to WOW, Bezeq’s ADSL portal, unless the customer demands otherwise. Weinberg said that the portal offers broadband content, and the company will be doing subscribers an important service.

Bezeq International also offers a more expensive package, based on a secure bandwidth of 512 Kbps, at NIS 111 per month. Customers using Bezeq’s occasional service via the WOW portal are charged NIS 0.25 for access and NIS 0.25 for each minute.

Bezeq International’s competitor in the international communications market, Barak, yesterday published its ADSL package tariffs: $58 per month without committing to a secure bandwidth. Barak also offers packages including international call minutes.

Nonstop, Internet Gold and Actcom have already started selling ADSL high-speed Internet services to subscribers in areas where Bezeq’s exchanges are linked to the service. Nonstop offers all participants in the test two months of free ADSL, followed by a package costing $47 per month.

Internet Gold offers participants in the trial 256 Kbps bandwidth for $47. Internet Gold has two more tariffs: $53 for Internet Gold subscribers wishing to upgrade to ADSL, and $59 for new subscribers.

Actvom sells its service for $57.3, including VAT. NetVision, on the other hand, has not started to sell the service, and is awaiting to Bezeq’s reaction to a letter sent last week and setting out 71 reservations on the contract.
