The company is negotiating to rent 8,000 sq.m. from Pozilov at $20 per sq.m.
High-tech company Check Point has decided at the last minute not to sign the contract with America-Israel to rent America House, a 7,000 sq.m. office bloc on Tuval Street at the Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange complex. Check Point was scheduled to pay $22 a sq.m. a month in a five-year lease with a five-year option, which was about to be signed.
Instead, Check Point is negotiating with the Pozilov family to rent a new 8,000 sq.m. wing the family will construct at the Paz Towers, also located at the Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange complex. The monthly rent under discussion is $20 a sq.m.
Another advantage in the Pozilov offer is short term lease. The family agrees to a three-year lease, whereas the deal with America-Israel is for five years.
