Nexus receives a $1.5 million order from Eden Telecom

Nexus is a 25% percent owned affiliate of BVR Technologies.

Nexus Telocation Systems (NASDAQ: NXUS) has announced the receipt of a US $1.5 million purchase order from Eden Telecom, Israel, for the supply of Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) units.

This is the seventh purchase order from Eden for end units and brings the total amount of units ordered by Eden to $6.7 million since the end of 1999. Eden Telecom is the second largest supplier of anti-theft, security and emergency services in Israel and is owned by: Pelephone Communication (the first cellular operator in Israel), Hapoalim Electronic Communication, Clal Information Technology, Metrocom and Nexus.

Eden deploys and operates the technology and infrastructure which was developed by Nexus, under its brand name ``Pointer''. This technology enables operators to accurately locate vehicles and people, using direction-finding techniques, for a variety of purposes and applications.

Shlomo Sadowsky, President and CEO of Nexus, said: ``We are very pleased with this additional purchase order, reflecting Eden's satisfaction with the Nexus system and its continuing success in the Israeli AVL market. The order strengthens Eden's position in the automatic vehicle location market and emphasizes its commitment to the Nexus infrastructure and end units. We expect to be working together throughout 2001 on new applications using the existing Nexus infrastructure.''

The Nexus system has enabled us to penetrate the highly competitive market of automatic vehicle location and stolen vehicle recovery. We are now in a strong position in the market, installing approximately 40% of all AVL systems in new vehicles, and expect to continue growing with the ''Pointer`` system in full cooperation with Nexus.''
