Koor sold Tadiran Lithium Batteries to Saft France a year ago.
Tadiran Lithium Batteries yesterday acquired 50% of German battery manufacturer Sonnenschein Lithium for $7.5 mln.
Koor sold Tadiran Lithium Batteries to Saft France a year ago. With the completion of the acquisition deal, Tadiran Lithium Batteries will have 100% ownership of Sonnenschein Lithium.
Tadiran Lithium Batteries general manager Yigal Carmi said that the acquisition would establish the company as the European leader in the field. Tadiran Lithium Batteries develops, manufactures, and markets lithium batteries. Company sales are expected to be about $50 million this year.
