TSK Israel to invest $1.5 mln in external ventures

TSK plans to integrate the ventures into the company’s products. Relationships with Israel academic institutions including Technion Israel Institute of Technology, Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University, have been established.

TSK’s Israeli R&D center plans to invest $1.5 million in external ventures as part of the company’s development strategy. TSK develops semiconductors.

TSK gave the company’s Israeli branch permission to develop independent projects in order to integrate them into the company’s products. TSK Israel will locate and assist in the development of ventures in semiconductors for automation, picture processing and other purposes. Company sources say the initial sum allocated for the purpose will increase if the ventures succeed.

TSK Israel has established relationships with Israel academic institutions including Technion Israel Institute of Technology, Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University and with leading physics and computer researchers as part of the effort to locate potential ventures.
