Tempo, STS rent 6500 sqm in Nativ Halamed Heh industrial park

Abadi Cakes halted negotiations to rent 6,000 sq.m. in Nativ Halamed Heh industrial park. The companies are leaving Atarot Industrial Zone in Jerusalem, due to security problems.

Tempo has rented 4,000 sq.m. in the new Nativ Halamed Heh industrial park, near Beit Shemesh, from Ampa Real Estate. Tempo will pay $4 per sq.m. per month, index-linked, under a three-year lease. Tempo will set up its central logistical warehouse at the new site. The contract was signed following several months of negotiations.

At the same time, STS – Science Technologies & Services, a recycling company owned by Daniel Neigar, is negotiating to rent 2,500 sq.m. in the industrial park. If the deal is closed, STS will pay $4 per sq.m. per month, index-linked, probably under a long-term lease. However, STS halted negotiations to rent 6,000 sq.m., also for $4 per sq.m. per month.

The three companies are currently located in the Atarot industrial park in northern Jerusalem, and decided to leave due to security problems.

Ampa Real Estate has so far built 16,500 sq.m. of structures in the Nativ Halamed Heh industrial park. The master plan calls for a total of 40,000 sq.m. of industrial and warehousing space.

Ampa Real Estate, owned by the Asher and Shlomi Fogel families, owns land and buildings throughout Israel worth over NIS 500 million. The company’s main property is a 25 dunam (6.25 acre) plot on Yigal Allon St., Tel Aviv, on which it is scheduled to build 60,000 sq.m. of high-tech and office space in the first stage, in 50% partnership with a US company.
