Comverse CEO Zeev Bregman: “The rumors are malicious and baseless.”
The “Yediot Ahronot” daily reports this morning that Comverse (Nasdaq: CMVT) CEO Zeev Bregman yesterday said that his company is again recruiting employees. The newspaper says reports of a new wave of company layoffs are untrue.
According to Bregman, “The rumors (of new layoffs) are malicious and baseless.” He said Comverse is continuing to grow and recruit new employees. The report says that a board of directors meeting of the cellular Internet division is scheduled for today, at which Bregman is expected to issue a sweeping official denial of the reported layoffs.
