A technology partnership between Speedwise Technologies Ltd. and the leading Italian wireless carrier, Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) - of the Telecom Italia Group (NYSE: TI) - will optimize Internet delivery over wireless and landline networks to TIM's corporate and private customers.
Speedwise will supply Telecom Italia Mobile with its server-based software solutions, which will accelerate Internet access to all customers using a standard HTML browser without requiring the installation of any additional software on the customer side. Internet users connecting to a TIM wireless or landline network with laptops, PCs, PDAs or other fixed or mobile devices, will immediately be able to benefit from faster Internet browsing, while Telecom Italia Mobile will benefit from improved network performance and utilization.
Speedwise's solutions will be seamlessly deployed over GSM, GPRS and landline networks allowing Telecom Italia Mobile to maximize investments in existing infrastructures, while providing faster and more advanced data services to all their customers on all networks.
