Liker Furniture has rented an 800 sq.m. store at 68 Kanfei Nesherim St., Givat Shaul, Jerusalem from contractor Pinhas Oren. Liker Furniture will pay $12.50 per sq.m. per month, index-linked, in a two-year lease with a two-year option. The transaction was brokered by Reshef Properties's Jerusalem franchisee.
Liker Furniture rented 400 sq.m. in a nearby property at 22 Kanfei Nesherim St. two years ago. The company is moving to a store twice the size due to its growing business, an exceptional trend in light of the current slowdown in all sectors. Liker Furniture's rent for the new space is low, compared with previous transactions in the area, reflecting the current market weakness.
