Japanese companies have shut down their offices in Israel following the terrorist attack on the US.
Sources inform “Globes” that the companies in question are Nissho Eway, Mitsubishi, and Mitsui.
The two representatives of Itochu (which operates in Israel vis-a-vis Japanese car manufacturer Mazda), have left their offices in Israel and moved to Turkey. The representatives of Jetro, the Japanese export institute, are also planning to quit Israel. The representatives of Sumitomo Bank, on the other hand, are staying in Israel.
The Japanese companies instructed their representatives to leave Israel as soon as possible because of fears that Israel may also become the target of a terrorist attack similar to the one launched on the US on Tuesday.
