XA Alliance selects MaxBill for pan-Asian communications network

The MaxBill system will manage XA Alliance's end-to-end billing and customer care activities for business customers.

XA Alliance, a provider of pan-Asian, managed network services, announced today that it had selected the MaxBill Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) system for its pan-Asian communications network. Based on a convergent, carrier-grade platform, the MaxBill system will manage XA Alliance's end-to-end billing and customer care activities for business customers.

XA Alliance is currently targeting Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan with its network rollout. Plans are to reach 14 countries across Asia by 2002. The company said MaxBill's flexibility would enable XA Alliance to cost-effectively deliver new services to expanded markets, while implementing localized business procedures for each country of operation.

"After conducting an extensive search, we selected MaxBill because the system provides integrated functionality along with a flexible architecture to continually deliver new services and take advantage of our revenue generating opportunities," said Mr. Sung Sio Ma, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for XA Alliance.

"MaxBill's advanced architecture and powerful workflow mechanism are setting the standard for the next-generation of CC&B systems."

"XA Alliance has developed a world-class operation in providing next-generation services to a diverse market," said Hadar Himmelman, Chairman of MaxBill. "We are proud that XA Alliance recognizes MaxBill as a leader in providing highly-functional CC&B systems. Our goal is to support companies like XA Alliance with advanced enterprise solutions."
