Sequoia Capital's Michael Moritz to visit Israel in December

Moritz will speak at the opening of the Israel Business Conference -2001, and lecture in the conference's high-tech track.

Sequoia Capital partner Michael Moritz will arrive in Israel early next month as a guest of the Israel Business Conference - 2001, which takes place in Tel Aviv on December 1-3. Moritz will speak at the conference's gala opening, and lecture in the conference's high-tech track.

Sequoia Capital has invested in companies like Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO), Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL), Apple Computer (Nasdaq: AAPL), Yahoo! (Nasday:(YHOO) and Redback Networks (RBAK). The company specializes in investing in communications companies.

The Israel Business Conference's high tech track will include talks on subjects such as "Venture capital's key dilemma," "Challenges facing investors and VCs in 2002," "Companies in trouble," "Building a quality company," "Trends in Israel's life sciences industry," and a proposal for a national project, "Turning Israel into a business and commercial paradise."
