Arad Dalia wins $3 mln Utah water meter contract

Arad Dalia president Gillon Beck: The company has 7% of the US water meter market, and aims to double its share within five years.

Arad Dalia has signed a $3 million water meter contract with Sandy City, Utah. Arad Dalia will supply 30,000 households in the city with automated water meters.

The water meters are based on wireless technology that enables automatic, remote reading of household water meters.

Arad Dalia president Gillon Beck said sales of the system in the US will reach $24 million in 2001, a 20% increase compared with 2000.

Arad Dalia currently has 7% of the US water meter market, and aims to double its share within five years. The current deal was concluded through Arad Dalia Dallas subsidiary Master Meter, which specializes in automated remote data gathering systems.
