The high rent is due to the time sharing arrangement, under which the doctors will rent the clinics.
15 doctors have rented 10-20 sq.m. clinics with a total area of 250 sq.m. in the new medical center in western Rishon LeZion. The Rubinstein family of contractors and Americare Management & Consultants are renting the space to the doctors. They will pay an average of $48 per sq.m., amounting to $12,000 per month. The high rent is due to the time-sharing arrangement, under which they will rent the clinics. The tenants will pay by the hour or by the day. Zvi Handler and Ilan Tamir own Americare.
The medical center was opened several months ago in a 1,000 sq.m. building at 30 Nahshon St. in western Rishon LeZion. It is adjacent to an Ahuzat Rishonim Rubinstein protected housing building, which is also controlled by the Rubinstein family and Americare. Most of the space in the medical center has already been leased to 30 physicians, under a similar arrangement.
