Fishman Retail Chains to open 6 new Celio branches

The move will cost $16 million. The company is negotiating the opening of additional branches in 2002.

Fishman Retail Chains is expanding the French Celio fashion chain it launched last summer. The expansion plan calls for six new branches in major shopping malls around Israel, at an overall cost of $16 million.

Four branches spanning 120-200 sq.m. are due to open in the next three months: in Haifa’s Grand Canion mall, Jerusalem’s Malha mall, Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Center mall, and the Canion Holon mall. Two more Celio branches are scheduled to open at the Ramat Aviv and Rehovot malls towards the month of May.

In addition to the six new stores, Celio will open four Celio sports points of sale in Mega Sport stores, with an average space of 80 sq.m.
