Aviv, Ocif negotiating sale of Moshe Aviv Tower apartments for $1.14m

The top ten storeys of the 67-storey building have 96 apartments, of which 82 have been sold.

Aviv and Ocif Investment & Development are negotiating to sell two 300 sq.m. apartments on the 61st and 63rd storeys of Ramat Gan's Moshe Aviv Tower. The asking price is $1.14 million, reflecting a price of $3,800 per sq.m.

The Moshe Aviv Tower, previously known as the City Gate Tower, is named for the late head of the two companies, who died in a traffic accident.

The Moshe Aviv Tower has 67 storeys, and all its office space has already been sold. The largest buyer was Ofer Brothers, which bought 12 storeys. The top ten storeys have 96 apartments, of which 82 have been sold. Ocif Investments and Development CEO Doron Aviv, who now heads Aviv, bought the top, 680 sq.m. storey for $2 million, at $3,000 per sq.m. The developers are offering a studio apartment for $290,000 and a two-room apartment for $400,000.

The developers have invested $150 million in the project. Tenants will enter in March 2003.
