Only 20,000 tourists in Israel after Passover

30,000 tourists are currently visiting Israel for the Passover holiday, far fewer than the average in previous years.

Only 20,000 tourists are expected to remain in Israel after the Passover holiday, according to Israel Incoming Tour Operators Association director general Ami Etgar. 30,000 tourists are currently visiting Israel for the Passover holiday, far fewer than the average in previous years.

According to Etgar, there have been no large-scale cancellations by overseas groups since the recent security events, since there are in any case few tourists, most of whom are Jews and others expressing their solidarity with Israel.

Some of the 30,000 tourists in Israel are staying with relatives and friends, rather than at hotels.
