BCH Brack Capital Holdings (formerly VSP Capital Holdings) reports that the New York municipality has recently changed its position and is now against the deal under which Brack's subsidiary will buy the UN Plaza complex.

Israel Radio: Co-op Norge, which is responsible for around 25% of grocery turnover in Norway, is considering a boycott of Israeli goods and is urging other Scandinavian chains to consider the same.

Check Point (Nasdaq: CHKP) profit warning: Revenue for the Q1 2002 expected to be $104-105 million with earnings per share (diluted) of $0.24-0.25. Wall Street estimates were for revenue of $122 million and EPS of $0.29.

Lumenis (Nasdaq: LUME) reports that interim results from the clinical trial of its GyneLase laser system are insufficient to support an FDA marketing claim.
