Bank Leumi, considered the second largest bank in Israel, was ranked one place behind Hapoalim at 120.
Bank Hapoalim is the 119th largest bank in the world, according to an annual ranking of the world’s 1000 largest banks by "The Banker", a prestigious banking magazine. The ranking was published in the monthly magazine’s latest July edition.
Bank Leumi, considered the second largest bank in Israel, was ranked one place behind Hapoalim at 120. Four other Israeli banks were also made it into the list. Israel Discount Bank was ranked 240; First International Bank was ranked 363; United Mizrahi Bank was ranked 364 and Union Bank was ranked 732.
