10 ministers of communications announced they would attend the exhibition.
Six countries will set up pavilions at the Telecom 2002 exhibition this November in Tel Aviv. The countries are Austria, Brazil, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Canada, and Cyprus. Companies from each country will have displays in their national pavilion. In addition, 10 ministers of communications from Italy, Bulgaria, Georgia, Guatemala, the Ivory Coast, and other countries announced they would attend the exhibition.
Over 200 telecommunications companies from Israel and around the world will take part in Telecom 2002. They will display up-to-date technologies and future global telecommunications trends.
Telecom 2002 is the sixth in Israel held by the telecommunications industry. The Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center in Tel Aviv and the Conexpo Organizers of Exhibitions are organizing the exhibition, which over 150,000 people are expected to attend.
