Edusoft to distribute English learning systems in Japan

The deal is worth NIS 6 million.

Japanese company SQ Marketing, a subsidiary of Seiko Electric Corporation, has acquired the Japanese distribution rights to Edusoft’s English Discoveries Online (EDO) system. The system makes it possible to learn English on either the Internet or on an enterprise’s Intranet network. The deal is worth an estimated at NIS 6 million over the next two years. SQ Marketing provides computerized training solutions.

EDO is a new version of Edusoft’s English learning software, which is distributed in 57 countries around the world, in 27 support languages. Under the agreement, SQ Marketing will distribute the system to commercial firms wishing to improve their employees’ English skills, high schools, and institutions of higher learning.

Rosh HaAyin-based Edusoft, founded in 1990, develops interactive educational software. Among other things, the company develops and markets products for learning English, science, and for pre-school children.
