Maccabi Healthcare Services negotiating to buy 1,500 sqm from Sahar Development for $2-2.5m

Maccabi Healthcare is also considering renting 10,000 sq.m. in Europe House at $15 per sq.m. per month.

Maccabi Healthcare Services is negotiating to buy three floors of offices, covering a total of 1,500 sq.m., in an office building at 27 Hamered St. in Tel Aviv. The price is expected to by $2-2.5 million, amounting to $1,300-1,700 per sq.m.

Maccabi Healthcare’s headquarters currently occupy 13 of the 16 floors in the building, with a total of 6,660 sq.m., of which the health fund owns 5,340 sq.m. and rents 1,260 sq.m. Maccabi Heathcare wishes to exploit the current low prices to buy adjacent offices to accommodate its expanding activities.

At the same time, the health fund is also considering renting 10,000 sq.m. in the Europe House office building, formerly the IBM building, at 1 Weizman St. in Tel Aviv from the Zisser group.
