SN Brussels Airlines renewing flights to Israel

Brussels Airlines will conduct four weekly flights, using Airbus-319s.

SN Brussels Airlines, the successor to Sabena, Belgium’s national carrier, announced at the end of last week in Brussels that it would renew its flights to and from Israel.

No Belgian airline has flown on the Belgium-Israel route for a year, since Sabena collapsed, along with Swissair, its owner. Brussels Airlines renewed its operations in a similar manner to Swiss International Air Lines, the successor to SwissAir, with the same staff and infrastructures.

Brussels Airlines will renew its flights to Israel as of June 1. The company will conduct four weekly flights, using Airbus-319s with 132 seats each, including business class. The airline has been flying to 56 destinations in Europe and Africa for some time.

Flights will leave Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday at 1:30 AM, in order to enable passengers to Belgium to conduct a normal business day and meet connecting flights.
