Web hosting automation and management software developer Sphera today announced that European web hosting provider AMEN has deployed its HostingBusiness Suite product family.

"In the Web hosting market where service and features are key, customers have high demands and the environment is increasingly competitive. Businesses must find ways to differentiate their services, to attract new customers and offer more value for their investment, " said Patrick Chassany, chief executive officer of Paris-based AMEN. "We were researching opportunities to provide compelling and valuable services for our resellers and their customers. Sphera's ResellerDirector enables us to tap into this market segment with a product that it is the only true end-to-end reseller solution in the industry."

Sphera's HostingBusiness Suite is a comprehensive hosting and management solution which Sphera says drives new customer acquisitions and increases existing customer loyalty.

Within the first three months of deployment, AMEN said that it signed over 10,000 accounts using Sphera's shared solution. "Due to Sphera's unrivaled reseller functionality and their security features, we are able to place enough resellers on a server to ensure a quick return on our investment," Chassany said.

"We developed our HostingBusiness Suite product family with a keen understanding of the issues that face web hosting providers today," said Sphera CEO Tamar Naor. "Our solution is designed to allow our customers to differentiate themselves with value-added features and functionality, reduce support costs, increase operational efficiencies and provide revenue generating opportunities."

Headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts, with EMEA offices in London, Sphera is backed by well-established global venture capital firms including JVP, TLcom Capital Partners, Gemini Israel Funds, Vision Capital, Bank of America, and Reuters Greenhouse Fund.
