International voice carrier ITXC opens Israel sales office

Within the past few months, ITXC has opened regional sales offices in India, Chile, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil.

US-based international voice carrier ITXC Corp (Nasdaq :ITXC) announced today that it opened its first Israel sales office in Tel Aviv.

The company has appointed Celso Khalili as its country sales manager for Israel. Before joining ITXC, he was international carrier sales manager for Golden Lines, an Israeli international telephone company.

Khalili is responsible for driving the in-country sales strategy while strengthening ITXC's relationships with all major licensed carriers in Israel. He also oversees the company's sales efforts in Italy, Spain, and Austria, ITXC says.

Within the past few months, ITXC has opened regional sales offices in India, Chile, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil. The company is rated the fastest growing technology company in North America, according to the 2002 Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 ranking.

ITXC says Israeli carriers benefit from its network reach in over 175 countries. They receive revenue for completing calls in Israel, which are sent by carriers around the world and aggregated by ITXC. In addition, ITXC says it provides carriers with low-cost, high quality international call completion for calls originated in Israel.

ITXC trades on Nasdaq at a $108 million company value.
