Broadband communications company Marvell (Nasdaq:MRVL) is acquiring Israel’s Radlan Computer Communications in a cash and share deal.

Orbotech (Nasdaq: ORBK) reports it recorded special charges of $8.8 million in Q4. Excluding the charges, Q4 net loss was $1 million, or $0.03 per share, missing analysts' forecasts of break-even.

Burger King Israel, owned by Meshulam Riklis, has petitioned the Tel Aviv District Court for a stay in proceedings.

International voice carrier ITXC (Nasdaq:ITXC) has opened a sales office in Israel.

Shekel strengthens: The Bank of Israel has fixed the representative rate at NIS 4.87/$, a 0.37% appreciation since Wednesday.
