Bezeq International to provide high-speed Internet to 150 schools

Bezeq International will provide high-speed Internet services to 150 schools in southern Israel. The contract is worth an estimated NIS 1 million per year. 300 schools in the south to date have been hooked up to the Internet through Internet Gold (Nasdaq: IGLD).

According to Bezeq International, 600 educational institutions have begun using the company’s services since the beginning of the year. As of now, Bezeq International is providing Internet services for half of Israel’s educational institutions, mostly through high-speed Internet. These Internet packages include site screening (to prevent viewing of sites showing pornography, violence, gambling, etc).
